In ’08 restoration started on this 1928 Ford Model “A” 4DR AR PHEATON. At the start of restoration the following was done: new running boards, paint, ALL New interior & BODY wood & flooring , the fuel tank was cleaned , new UPHOLSTERY , NEW Tan DELUX CLOTH top & SEAT SPRINGS WERE installed , all chrome was refinished or replaced with new and engine was REBUILT, plugs, points and other small parts. the wheels were PAINTED the correct color, received FIVE new tires, inter tubes and rim liners, New brake shoes, HAS a Sparton horn and an ORIGINAL ,WORKING 5 BRUSH POWER HOUSE 6v Generator. New plugs and points were installed . Running boards Step plates were also installed THIS CAR ALSO HAS THE AR ORIGINAL SIDE CURTIAN COMPARTMENT UNDER THE BACK FLOORBOARD ,THIS HAS A RARE REARVIEW MIOOR W/STEM WIND CLOCK a rebuilt starter motor, new bendix gear, New starter switch and a Rebuilt Zenith 2 carburetor , all fuel lines along with ORIG fuel shut-off-value, fuel tank gauge works, New water pump and a new speed-o-meter cable and drive assembly were installed. It HAS A NEW WIRE HARNESS also Noted that all light bulbs including new headlight bulbs & Light sockets INSTALLED. New Distributor, distributor cap, rotor cap and an ignition coil were installed. New laminated fiber timing gear was installed. . New one-piece manifold gasket, NEW MUFFLER and brake and clutch pedal shaft bushings were installed. The Transmission and rear-end oil were changed, the radiator was Flushed and coolant was replaced and a 4 blade Coolant hoses and clips were replaced. Headlights were also adjusted .Doors have dings . NEW SAFTEY GLASS WINDSHIELD INSTALLED , ECHED WIND WINGS , FORD SCRIPT MOTOR METER ,ALL SPRING BUSHINGS &KING PIN KITS ,NEW SEAT SPRINGS , The radiator was flushed and cleaned and new antifreeze was installed. New front axle and a spindle BUSHINGS were installed, the radius rod ball was replaced . The spark and gas control rods were rebuilt. NEW Brakes. The oil was changed and all grease joints were service. The transmission and rear axle were both serviced. THIS HAS DUAL STAINLESS SIDEMOUNT COVERS & SIDE MOUNT REAR VIEW MIRRORS ,ALSO THE PROPER FOLDING AR LUGGAGE RACK WITH ORIGINAL ERA STYLE METAL TRUNK .THE WHEELS & HUBCAPS ARE CORRECT AR ,CORRECT DRUM TAIL LIGHT FOR THE AR [EARLY 1928 PRODUCTION] & MUCH MORE
