1939 Buick Roadmaster: Model 81 4-door “Trunkback Touring Sedan”. Classic beauty with suicide doors, “stand-on” running boards, 320 c.i. straight 8 motor, three speed on the column, rear and front turn signals (the rears were an industry first). Dark blue (original color). Starts and stops as it should, strong runner (work on your arm strength….no power steering and it weighs a hefty 4200 pounds). In excellent condition showing 90K+ on the speedo (seems realistic given the car’s condition). Dual sidemount spare tires, good /straight chrome, new “fat” white wall tires, completely and accurately restored interior with all knobs and buttons, the original (still nice) “banjo” steering wheel, original factory pushbutton radio, correct (and restored) auxiliary heater installed, and many extras of the era (all removable if you’d like…).
