Hoping to catch more of the market, Packard decided to issue the Packard 115C in 1937, which was powered by Packard’s first six-cylinder engine since 1928.
The six-cylinder Packard Six was conceived in the Depression-wracked Thirties and was an medium-priced car, it possessed many of the esteemed marque’s qualities.
It was a clear-cut sales success, too! This Packard is still powered by a Straight 6 with a 3 speed transmission.
