Under the hood is a four-cylinder, 40 hp Continental motor. This is the heart of why Traffic Trucks were so dependable. Continental provided some of sturdiest engines to makers of farm equipment and trucks throughout the United States. They are so robust, that this is believed to be the original motor to this truck. The other good news is that since the Red Seal engine has been far more mass-produced than the Traffic Truck chassis, you have the benefit of having a unique vehicle that still has a larger and more available spare parts network.
